Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, might just be the sassiest royal we’ve ever seen.
The youngster definitely isn’t camera shy. She happily posed for photos at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018.
Not all of the photos showed her smiling for the fans outside St. George’s Chapel, however.
It’s no surprise that Charlotte charms everyone she meets.
However, sometimes the pressure of being Britain’s sassiest royal can be too much to handle.
Just like any other child, she has her down days.
She’s not always happy to see the press. The princess certainly wasn’t pleased with the waiting photographers outside St. George’s Chapel before Princess Eugenie’s wedding.
Before the christening of Prince Louis in July 2018, Charlotte told photographers “you’re not coming.”
She may be one of the youngest royals, but she’s already done a fair amount of traveling. When she was just over a year old, Charlotte accompanied her parents and brother on an eight-day tour of Canada in September 2016.
Even then, Charlotte had mastered the regal wave.
The princess debuted her “royal curtsy” to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, on Christmas Day last year.
And although Charlotte seemed unsure of the waiting press during the day’s festivities …
… her mom ultimately encouraged her to lighten up.
Here she is, hugging a fan who gifted her an inflatable pink flamingo.
She’s not afraid to go head-to-head with Britain’s future monarch, Prince George. In this photo, the siblings race during a visit to Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire in October 2018.
The pair faced off again as they played soccer during a family day out in July 2019.
She’s not afraid to give photographers her best “don’t mess with me” glare.
When her mom tried to get her to wave at fans during a sailing race in August 2019, Charlotte cheekily stuck her tongue out at them instead.
However, the royal also has a shy side. On her first day of school, she hid behind her mom.
But it wasn’t long before she was back to her usual self, waving proudly at the cameras.
The royal smiled as she made her way to the royal family’s Christmas party …
… but she didn’t share the same enthusiasm when leaving later that night.
More recently, the princess let go of her dad’s hand at a red-carpet event at the London Palladium on December 11. When the duke tried to hold her hand again, she wouldn’t let him, instead opting to stand in front of the cameras alone.
Of course, the sassy royal is adorable.
